How to deliver the last mile: Occupational and Environmental Health Services
SNEEHA Society for Sustainable Development works to create meaningful and lasting change by reaching communities, schools, women, adolescent girls and elderly people with awareness, health and development initiatives. Through community engagement, menstrual hygiene awareness, healthcare services and knowledge-sharing platforms, the organisation strives to address important needs at the last mile and promote healthier, more informed and sustainable communities.
250 girl students were oriented on menstrual hygiene jointly with the Women Empowerment and Child Development Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
27 women and girls were oriented on menstrual hygiene through community-level initiatives in collaboration with the Women Empowerment and Child Development Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
Three Government and private schools were reached, including Manav Bharti India International School, Nehru Colony, Government Inter College, SGRR School and Bhogpur, Rishikesh
A community activity was conducted at Shiv Mandir, Ram Nagar, Deep Nagar, promoting awareness and community participation.
